I am the current priest-in-charge and I also work part-time at Adcote School for Girls which is in our benefice. I have a large family, all of whom have left home, and that large family now includes grandchildren.
I am always looking at ways in which we can meet the needs of families in this area, something that is a key part of our mission statement where we talk about living Christ-centred lives and reaching out to our communities.
As a Reader, Anne is authorised by the Church of England to preach and teach, to conduct or assist in conducting worship, and to assist in many other aspects of the work of the Church.
Readers are lay people who act as a wonderful bridge between the Church and the wider community
Each church has one or more church wardens, who with the priest-in-charge, are generally responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the parish. Their work is not just the maintenance of the church building, but helping in the smooth running of the church.
Pastoral Care Team
Church around the Cliffe has a small Pastoral Care team who are happy to visit the lonely, those with long-term illnesses and also the bereaved. If you or someone you know would like a visit from one of the team then please contact us
We have an active Ministry Team which helps lead and preach in our Sunday worship while also working in other ways throughout our three parishes.
I am the Safeguarding Officer for our three parishes and it is my responsibility to ensure that we do everything possible to protect our children and vulnerable adults. See our Safeguarding page for more information.
